Second challenge!

Hey guys!  So there is another challenge this week that, after a lot of thinking, I decided to do.  I just really didn't want to get out of the holiday spirit!  But, oh well.  The theme for this challenge is violet and so I decided to take two purples and do some more water marbling so I can get more practice.  Let me just say, I am EXTREMELY happy with the results.  I did it so quickly and they came out so well!  I'm so happy to finally be getting the hang of it since I'm obsessed with how it can turn out.  Alright enough of my rambling, I hope you all enjoy!

Oopsie!

So I painted my nails for a second time today.. (I say that like it's unlikely for me to do..) and I really like how they came out so I just wanted to share them with you! :)  For these, I used Ulta's Alter Ego, Essie's Matte About You (again), Orly's White Tips for the "snowflakes," and Kiss's Silver Nail Art.  I also feel as though my fingers bend in odd ways hahaha, don't mind them.

Evening!  Today was spent with a little Christmas shopping (with no money.. kind of difficult..) and then I FINALLY found a store that had the Essie Matte About You top coat in stock and I jumped up and down! (not really).  So when I got home I decided to finally try it out with OPI's Black Onyx polish to create a matte black with a shiny black tip.  I had seen this in a few different blogs and just absolutely LOVE it.  Here are the results! :)

Hey guys!  Sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days, haven't had many designs that I've been liking :/ but that's alright, everything right now is trial and error.  Speaking of, I've (obviously) been looking at so many different blogs to get inspired and new ideas and today I realized I am NO WHERE near being as good as all these people I am seeing.  Then I started thinking that starting this blog was a dumb idea, feeling like I don't have as much experience as I would like.  But then I realized it's a good idea to start here, this way I always have the documentation of all my progress and being able to see what I really enjoy and am good at, and what I'm not.  So with that being said, here are a couple of Christmas designs that I have done this weekend.  Again, I enjoy ANY feedback (good or bad!) so don't hesitate to share your opinions. :) Enjoy!

Update!

Good evening everyone!  Just wanted to write a quick update on nail-related topics.  I just ordered my first "Konad" stamps from amazon!  I've been hearing a lot about them lately and never really looked into them until now.  I didn't get the actual Konad brand, I found a 25-set from MASH for just $16! (Konad brand goes for $6.50 for a single plate!)  I thought it was a pretty good deal so I snagged it (sorry mom).  Hopefully I will have them within a few days and I am definitely trying them as soon as I get them so I will let you all know how they turn out!  Can't wait until they get here eeeep! <3

Old Nail Designs

Here are some nail designs from these past couple of months just to get this blog started.  I don't remember which polishes I used but from here out I will list the brand and names of all the polishes I use.  Enjoy!

These are "winter" themed - I did these to submit them to a challenge.

These were for Halloween

This is new magnetic nail polish that I purchased at Sephora.

These are my first attempt at gradient nails.  I used three different blues and MAC glitter sprinkled on top.

Blue tips :)

Bought a China Glaze Holiday set and tested it out

China Glaze marble nails

More China Glaze haha

More marble.. I'm trying to marble my nails as much as possible because it takes SO much practice to perfect.
